Home Care

Boston Senior Home Care’s Home Care program, including the Frail Elder Waiver, provides care management and in-home support services to individuals who require home assistance to successfully age in place.

This program is available to individuals 60 years of age and older, people with disabilities, and people under 60 with Alzheimer’s Disease or related dementias who currently live at home in Massachusetts outside of an in institutional or Certified Assisting living setting. Eligibility is determined based on factors such as age, residence, and ability to carry out daily tasks.

Our care managers can help with eligibility requirements, provide a needs assessment, and assist with choosing appropriate in-home services and supports to create and facilitate an individualized care plan that best meets each person’s specific needs.

Our in-home services and supports are provided through a network of community-based home care professionals who must consistently meet our standards for providing the best care available with compassion, respect, and dignity. Cost sharing for supportive services through the Home Care program is available based on income.
